There were nine or ten people crashing at the house at the time. The living situation was a little chaotic.
Some weeks our bins were past the brim with trash – we had to scatter it around the other neighborhood cans until we got threatened to be fined by the city.
There was a lot of talk about what to do with the trash. It was around that time that I came up with “Trash House.”
One of the people crashing at my house was a musician I met an an open mic night.
I had been dabbling with videography but Austan pushed me to elevate my production and introduced me to artists in the bay to work with. This is how I met Cam.

Cam met at a video shoot. We DMed back and forth about getting some film photos to promote what he was working on.
It was one of my first times shooting film and I was very happy with the results but I sent him a handful of photos and expected to hear back.
Nothing. Crickets.
A week later, “I just got out of jail fam was locked up since 4/20.”
